Dr. Thang Nguyen is a highly dedicated nephrologist originally from Vietnam, who later migrated to the United States with his family. They settled in the vibrant city of Houston, Texas, where he hopes to make a positive impact on the local community's kidney health.
Education and Training:
After completing his undergraduate studies, Dr. Nguyen pursued his passion for medicine at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine. There, he honed his skills and acquired the knowledge necessary to excel in the field of nephrology.
Following his medical studies, Dr. Nguyen returned to Texas for his residency in Corpus Christi, where he gained valuable experience in various aspects of medicine, laying the foundation for his future specialization.

Dr. Nguyen's commitment to advancing his skills and knowledge in nephrology led him to complete a prestigious nephrology fellowship at UTMB Nephrology in Galveston. Under the mentorship of renowned experts, he received comprehensive training in the management of chronic kidney disease, electrolyte imbalances, renal replacement therapies and more.
Notably, he also had the privilege of training with the world-renowned interventional nephrologist, Dr. Gerald Beathard, extensively. This specialized training in interventional nephrology further enriched his skillset, enabling him to provide cutting-edge treatments and interventions to his patients.
